1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Interview Copilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

Interview Copilot is an AI-powered desktop application designed to provide interview assistance by generating professional answers to interview questions. The Service is intended to help users prepare for and perform better in job interviews.

Important: Interview Copilot is designed to be screen-share safe, but users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their employer's policies, interview guidelines, and applicable laws regarding the use of assistance tools during interviews.

3. User Accounts and Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use the Service to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to investigate violations of these Terms and may involve law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who violate applicable laws.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

Interview Copilot offers various subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

5.2 Payment Terms

• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
• You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription
• Failed payments may result in suspension or termination of your subscription

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your paid period.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Interview Copilot and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. However, by using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

7. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content you create, input, or generate using the Service ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize the use of your User Content
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, in our sole discretion.

8. AI-Generated Content

Interview Copilot uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and suggestions. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of AI-generated content
• You should use your judgment and discretion when using AI-generated suggestions

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of the Service

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERVIEW COPILOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
• Damages resulting from any conduct or content of third parties
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Interview Copilot and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Interview Copilot regarding the Service.
